Before any trade idea lands on your phone, it goes through a set process. Nothing is sent on a hunch. In this article we take you behind the scenes and walk through the five steps we use to build every XAUUSD idea, from checking the news to staying available once it is out.
The first step is to check the news. What is due today that could move gold? Economic releases and central bank announcements can swing XAUUSD sharply, so we want to know when to be cautious and when the market is likely to be quieter. Trading into a major release without knowing it is coming is an avoidable mistake.
The second step is to mark the levels. Where has price reacted before? Gold tends to respect areas where buyers or sellers have stepped in previously, so we map those zones on the chart. These levels shape where an entry makes sense and, just as importantly, where a trade would be proven wrong.
Step three is planning the risk. Where does the stop-loss go, and is the potential reward worth that risk? If the answer is no, there is no trade, however tempting the chart looks. Step four is writing it clearly: entry, stop-loss and take-profit, with no vague language. If an idea cannot be written in a few clear lines, it is not ready.
Only then do we send the idea. But sending is not the end. We stay available for questions, because an idea is only useful if you understand it. Members ask why the stop-loss sits where it does or whether to enter after price has moved, and those conversations are where the learning happens. Join free and see the process in action.
We check the day's news, mark where price has reacted before, plan the stop-loss and reward, and only send if the idea can be written clearly with an entry, stop-loss and take-profit.
Every idea includes an entry, a stop-loss and a take-profit, with the reasoning explained and the team available for questions afterwards.
