A trade idea is only half of the story. Once a trade is open, we send short follow-up messages telling you what has changed and what we suggest. This guide explains the four most common updates, what each one means for your open trade, and what to do if you are ever unsure.
"TP1 reached" means the first take-profit target has been hit. Depending on how you set up the trade, part or all of your position may already have closed in profit. "Move SL to entry" is a suggestion to drag your stop-loss up or down to your entry price, so that if gold reverses the trade closes at roughly break-even instead of a loss.
"Close now" means we suggest closing the trade at the current market price, whatever it is, usually because the picture has changed. "Stopped out" means the stop-loss was hit and the trade has closed. That is a planned, limited loss, decided before the trade was ever taken, and it is a normal part of the plan.
Message us with a screenshot of your open trade. We will tell you exactly what the update means for your position, since your entry or lot size may differ slightly from the idea. Our support is available 24/7, so you never need to guess. Over time you will find the updates become second nature, and the live training sessions help with that too.
It means moving your stop-loss to your entry price. If the market then reverses, the trade closes at about break-even rather than at a loss.
Your stop-loss order was triggered and the trade closed at a loss. Because the stop was set before entry, that loss was planned and limited.
